This long-handled wooden dish brush is made from bamboo and the bristles are made from sisal (from the agave plant), so it is completely plastic-free and fully biodegradable.

The stiff sisal bristles will make short work of your dirty dishes while the long handle makes it easy to scrub right into the corners of pans.

When the bristles on the brush head have passed their best, you simply slide down the metal ring below the head to release it, pop in a replacement head, then slide up the ring to secure it in place. Then you are ready to continue using your now rejuvenated washing-up brush.

Bamboo is naturally water resistant, but to prolong the life of your dish brush and keep it in good condition, rinse and leave it to dry out fully between uses. (Our dish brush stand is handy for this.) Do not leave the brush immersed in water for extended periods.

The head and handle are bamboo and the bristles are sisal, so you can just add them to your compost heap when the dish brush has outlived its usefulness. The metal parts can be removed and recycled.

Note: This item consists of one long handled-dish brush together with one replacement head. Further replacement heads are available to buy separately, as is the dish brush stand.
