About the candles
The mini taper candles are clean burning, non-drip (so long as there's no draught) and unscented other than with the natural honey scent of the beeswax itself.
Made by hand in Hertfordshire using a traditional dipping technique, each beeswax candle is about 6cm tall and 6mm across.
How to use the candles:
To use one of the candles, press it gently but firmly into the holder so that it is secure. Place it on a level, flame-proof surface and light the wick. Make sure that the candle is upright so that it burns evenly.
Being handmade, there will be a slight variation between the individual candles, but each one should burn for at least 20 minutes. For optimal burn time, keep the wick trimmed to 5mm.
! Never leave a lit candle unattended and keep it out of reach of children and pets !
Disposal
The beeswax candles are clean burning so there should normally be no residue. However if you are left with any candle ends, they are completely natural and can be composted or added to your green waste collection. The cotton storage bag is biodegradable, the card insert can be recycled, and the candle holder is clay which will break down naturally in the ground.
