These Herb Seedball Tubes contain 20 seedballs, each of which is packed with wildlife-friendly herb seeds. Ideal as gifts for gardeners, lovers of bees and butterflies, and foodies. They also make lovely little eco-friendly stocking fillers.
The seedballs work well in window boxes, balcony pots, garden beds and wildlife gardens. Each tube of seedballs will cover 1 square metre in a garden bed, or 3-5 medium sized pots (leaving at least 10cm between each ball).

How do the seedballs work?
The seedballs are made from a mixture of UK native seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder helps deter slugs and snails from feasting on the new shoots.
