Caring for your tangle teaser brush
Your wooden tangle teaser hairbrush is made from 100% natural materials so whilst it is very durable, it does need a little more attention than a plastic brush. Make sure that you don't leave it standing in water, and if you've used it on wet hair, allow it to air dry (with bristles facing down) after use.
 
To keep your brush in tip-top condition, give it a gentle clean on a regular basis:
Fill a bowl with warm water and a little shampoo or gentle soap
Remove any loose hair from the brush then dip it in the bowl to remove any dirt (an old toothbrush is handy for this)
Rinse the brush with cold water then place it with bristles down in a warm spot and leave it to air dry fully.
 
Disposal
The wooden tangle teaser hairbrush is very sturdy so should give you many years of faithful use, but when it has finally outlived its usefulness it is completely biodegradable. To speed up its decomposition in your compost bin, pull it apart and cut it up first; alternatively just place it in your green waste collection bin.
