Switch to a reusable coffee filter, and you can stop throwing away all those single-use paper filters.

This reusable coffee filter is made from food-grade stainless steel. The mesh is extremely fine, so that only the coffee goes through, and not the grounds.

The stand of the filter will fit on top of most cups, jugs or coffee pots.

How to use the reusable coffee filter

  • Place the filter on top of your coffee cup, jug or pot.
  • Put 2 or 3 tablespoons of medium or coarse ground coffee in the filter. (This makes 1 - 4 cups, depending on size.)
  • Pour hot water over the grounds and leave the water to drip through.
  • Enjoy your cup of coffee.

Care of the reusable coffee filter

When you've made your coffee, simply tip out the grounds (ideally into your compost bin) and rinse the filter clean. The coffee filter is also dishwasher safe and won't rust. For best results wash the filter immediately after use.

If the fine mesh of the filter becomes clogged up, don't try to scrape it off with a hard object. Instead, soak the filter in a solution of bicarbonate of soda and warm water for an hour.

Product and packaging are recyclable

The reusable coffee filter is completely plastic-free and comes in recycled cardboard packaging. It should serve you for many years if correctly cared for, but when it has outlived its usefulness, just put the coffee filter in with your metal recycling.
